Preserving and protecting Quran

God promised in the Quran to protect and preserve the Quran.

[Quran 15:9] Absolutely, we have revealed the reminder, and, absolutely, we will preserve it.

(১৫:৯

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ

নিশ্চয় আমিয়েই কোৰআন অৱতীৰ্ণ কৰিছো আৰু নিশ্চয় আমিয়েই ইয়াৰ সংৰক্ষক।)

This very important verse, however, have been misunderstood by millions of Muslims. The misinformation was spread by some of the Muslim scholars who did not grasp the meaning or purpose behind this verse.

[Quran 56:77-80] This is an honorable Quran. In a protected book. None can grasp it except the sincere. A revelation from the Lord of the universe.

(৫৬:৭৭-৮০

إِنَّهُ لَقُرْآنٌ كَرِيمٌ

নিশ্চয় এইখন মহিমান্বিত কোৰআন,

৫৬:৭৮

فِي كِتَابٍ مَكْنُونٍ

যিখন আছে সুৰক্ষিত কিতাবত (লিপিবদ্ধ)।

৫৬:৭৯

لَا يَمَسُّهُ إِلَّا الْمُطَهَّرُونَ

পৱিত্ৰসকলৰ বাহিৰে আন কোনোৱে ইয়াক স্পৰ্শ কৰিব নোৱাৰে।

৫৬:৮০

تَنْزِيلٌ مِنْ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

এইখন সৃষ্টিজগতৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ পৰা অৱতীৰ্ণ।)

For centuries the Muslim scholars have been teaching the Muslim masses that by verse 15:9, God means He will protect the Mus-haf of any distortion or changes. The mus-haf is the Arabic name for the book in which the Quran is collected. Many Muslims refer to the Mus-haf as the Quran for short and both words have been used interchangeably. However the promise in 15:9, as we will see, has nothing to do with what the people write down as the Quran but rather it refers to the actual Quran placed into prophet Muhammad's heart, 🔺26:194, and preserved in master tablets at God Almighty.

(২৬:১৯২-১৯৫

وَإِنَّهُ لَتَنْزِيلُ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

নিশ্চয় এইখন (কোৰআন) সৃষ্টিজগতৰ ৰব (আল্লাহ)ৰ তৰফৰ পৰা অৱতীৰ্ণ।

২৬:১৯৩

نَزَلَ بِهِ الرُّوحُ الْأَمِينُ

বিশ্বস্ত ৰূহে (জীব্ৰীলে) সেয়া লৈ অৱতৰণ কৰিছে।

২৬:১৯৪🔺

عَلَىٰ قَلْبِكَ لِتَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُنْذِرِينَ

তোমাৰ হৃদয়ত, যাতে তুমি সতৰ্ককাৰীসকলৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত হোৱা।

২৬:১৯৫

بِلِسَانٍ عَرَبِيٍّ مُبِينٍ

সুস্পষ্ট আৰবী ভাষাত।)

[Quran 85:21-22] Indeed, it is a glorious Quran. In a preserved master tablet.

(৮৫:২১-২২

بَلْ هُوَ قُرْآنٌ مَجِيدٌ

প্ৰকৃততে ই সন্মানিত কোৰআন,

৮৫:২২

فِي لَوْحٍ مَحْفُوظٍ

সুৰক্ষিত ফলকত লিপিবদ্ধ।)

[85:22 (Inscribed) upon Tablet Imperishable.(sa).

Note.

God Himself guards it against corruption. It is preserved in minds and hearts in addition to parchment and paper, and its laws are indelibly inscribed in the Book of nature 15:9, 56:78. Interestingly, 85:22 is unique in using Lauh-im-Mahfooz, the Imperishable Tablet, for the Qur’an. Elsewhere it relates to the Divine Database about the Universe.

🍒According to some scholars:

The mathematical system shows that every element of it is protected by God. The word lawh here and the word lawaha in 74:29 share the same root. See 74:30.

This means whatever change the people would do to the revealed Quran, whether done deliberately or not will be exposed and corrected as the original is preserved with God. God, being the Most Merciful , also 🍒provided us with a method and a proof to verify the accuracy of the Quran.
