Quran: All you need for Salvation(পৰিত্ৰাণ)

Quran: All you need for Salvation(পৰিত্ৰাণ) The words of the Quran speak loud saying: We do not come down except by the command of your Lord. To Him belongs what is before us, what is behind us, and what is in between. Your Lord is never forgetful. 19:64 God told us that the Quran has all the details we need to practice the religion. Yet, the fabricators of the hadith which we have today in the collections of Bukhari and others, written more than 200 years after the death of the prophet, have come up with religious teachings dictating to their followers all kinds of ridiculous issues. Examples of these are: which side to sleep on; with which foot to enter the toilet; how to cut one's nails; how to urinate and even the necessity to sneeze upon waking up in the morning! So entrenched in this ideology of trivialities are the promoters of hadith, that the authorities in Saudi Arabia appoint guards inside the Masjid Al-Haram in Mecca, to seek out the exhausted visito...

. Indeed, this verse is one of the most prominent examples of a Quranic verse that has been corrupted through false interpretation. The genuine reader of the Quran will readily accept the meaning given in God's words, without the need to add a word here or there that ultimately changes the meaning....

Will the righteous disbelievers go to Hell?

Will the righteous disbelievers go to Hell? Question : There are many Christians who do lots of excellent charity work and are generally very righteous people. Will these go to Hell according to the Quran? Reply : Before replying to this question, it is necessary to state that only God knows the content of the hearts and who is a believer and who is not. We do not know the content of the hearts nor are we the ones who will judge. All that can be said is what the Quran says about the fate of the disbelievers on Judgement Day, then the matter is in God’s hands alone. We read a number of verses in the Quran which state that all the good works of the disbelievers are nullified on Judgement Day and count for nothing: Any of you who revert from his religion and die as disbelievers, for those,  their works are nullified in this world and in the Hereafter,  and these are the companions of the Fire, therein they shall permanently remain. 2:217 Those who deny Our revelations and th...

(Al-Kahf 18:85) Dhu’l-Qarnayn was granted both the power and ability of accomplish-ment and the power and ability to surmount hardships with consummate ease. He was favored with all the means and possibilities to overcome easily the hardships and obstacles invented and caused by his opponents. As it is understood from the Qur’anic verses about Dhu’l-Qarnayn, he was one who represented Islam in the world power-balance, interfered with any disorder and confusion to arise in any part of the world he could march to with his armies, reinstated peace and order, and built barriers before anarchy and dissension to ensure or preserve safety and security. In order that he could fulfill his duties or mission perfectly, God Almighty equipped him with whatever was necessary. The verse, “We surely estab-lished him with power in the...

Who was the teacher who accompanied Moses? KHIDIR?

Who was the teacher who accompanied Moses? Researched by A. Muhammad When we read verses 65-82 of Sura 18 we come across a servant of God who walked, talked and passed wisdom to Moses. We are not given his name anywhere in the Quran nor knowledge of his true identity. The following are the relevant verses: .

On The Term And Concept Of Jinn(Appendix 3as.)Bn translation.

On The Term And Concept Of Jinn(Appendix 3as.) IN ORDER to grasp the purport of the term JINN as used in the Quran, we must dissociate our minds from the meaning given to it in Arabian folklore, where it early came to denote all manner of "demons" in the most popular sense of this word. This folkloristic image has somewhat obscured the original connotation of the term and its highly significant - almost self-explanatory -verbal derivation. The root-verb is JANNA, "he [or "it"] concealed" or "covered with darkness": cf. 6:76, which speaks of Abraham "when the night overshadowed him with its darkness (janna alayhi)". Since this verb is also used in the intransitive sense ("he [or "it"] was [or "became"] concealed", resp. "covered with darkness"), all classical philologists point out that al-jinn signifies "intense [or "confusing"] darkness" and, in a more general sense, "tha...

The Quranic word 'Al-Ebadah' means the act of worship.

The concept of 'worship' (A Quranic perspective) By: A Muhammad The Quranic word 'Al-Ebadah' means the act of worship. To most people the act of worship is primarily prostrating and observing the prayer. However, the Quran enlightens us that the act of worship is a much more profound concept than just the act of prayer. The words of God to His chosen prophet Moses were: I am God, there is no god except Me. Therefore, you shall worship Me and observe the Salat to commemorate Me. 20:14 The words "worship Me" and "observe the Salat", which are spoken of as separate acts, tell us that worshipping God is not confined to the ritual of Salat. Whilst the Salat is a specific ritual decreed for specific times of the day, the act of worship is an uninterrupted state of the mind, body and heart. It is an exalted spiritual awareness and acceptance of God in our lives. In this sense, the act of worship is a very much needed nourishment for the 'nafs' ...

Who are we warned not to worship?

Who are we warned not to worship? The Quran states that the human being is prone to worship any one, or all of the following: 1- Material possessions: If the only thing you think of is money and how to make money, if your mind is primarily occupied with issues such as: 'how much will I make out of this deal?' and 'what will I gain out of this person?' etc, if everything in your life is assessed according to its material benefit, then it is said that you worship money. If your business or your property distracts you from worshipping God, then you worship your possessions. a- The following parable in Sura 18, portrays the tale of the man who was so occupied with his garden to the extent of setting it up as his idol, arrogantly boasting about it to his friend, saying that it will never cease to yield its crop. Consequently, God wiped it out as a punishment and a lesson for his idol worship: His fruits were totally ruined, so he started wringing his hands over what he had s...
