🌓Q: Who to prostrate to? In 41:37, God says do not prostrate to the sun or the moon, but to prostrate to Him only.

(৪১:৩৭

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ ۚ لَا تَسْجُدُوا لِلشَّمْسِ وَلَا لِلْقَمَرِ وَاسْجُدُوا لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَهُنَّ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ

আৰু তেওঁৰ নিদৰ্শনাৱলীৰ মাজত আছে ৰাতি আৰু দিন, সূৰ্য আৰু চন্দ্ৰ। তোমালোকে সূৰ্যক ছাজদাহ নকৰিবা, আৰু চন্দ্ৰকো নহয়; ছাজদাহ কৰিবা কেৱল আল্লাহক, যিজনে এইবোৰ সৃষ্টি কৰিছে, যদিহে তোমালোকে কেৱল তেওঁৰেই ইবাদত কৰা।)

But in 2:34, God commanded the angels to prostrate to Adam. This is a clear contradiction.

(২:৩৪

وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ وَاسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ

আৰু স্মৰণ কৰা, যেতিয়া আমি ফিৰিস্তাসকলক ক’লো, তোমালোকে আদমক ছাজদা কৰা । তেতিয়া ইবলিছৰ বাহিৰে সকলোৱে ছাজদা কৰিলে। সি অস্বীকাৰ কৰিলে আৰু অহংকাৰ কৰিলে । আৰু সি কাফিৰসকলৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত হ’ল।)

Obeying God is an integral part of worshipping Him.

FIRST-

In 41:37 God issued a command:

"Do not prostrate to the sun or to the moon. Prostrate to God who created them, if it is Him that you worship." 41:37

The words above include 2 acts:

- Not to prostrate to the sun and the moon (these are symbolic of any of God's creations).

- To prostrate to God.

The last words in the verse "if it is Him that you worship" mean that obeying  both 

instructions demonstrates that the human worships God. Regarding religion, the one whose commands we obey is the one whom we worship.

SECOND-

Now let us look at 2:34:

And when We said to the angels, "Fall prostrate before Adam," they fell prostrate, except Satan; he refused, was arrogant and was among the disbelievers. 2:34

When the angels fell prostrate to Adam, who were they obeying? Were they obeying God or Adam? They were clearly obeying God and not Adam.

And since obedience is an integral act of worship, the angels were indeed worshipping God, even though they were prostrating to Adam.
